Wake’s Chennault Considering Five

Wake Forest sophomore point guard Tony Chennault is considering five schools in an attempt to transfer closer to his Philadelphia home.

Chennault is looking at Villanova, St. Joe’s, Drexel, Seton Hall and Delaware, according to Neumann-Goretti assistant John Mosco.

Chennault will visit Villanova April 19, but no other visits have been set.

“He’s probably going to take a visit to St. Joe’s when that’s done,” Mosco told SNY.tv.

In 46 career games, Chennault averaged 7.5 points and 2.5 assists. As a freshman in 2010-11, the 6-2 guard out of Philadelphia missed 17 games after breaking his foot in the season opener.

In other transfer news, Rice freshman guard Dylan Ennis will visit Villanova this weekend, per Tony McIntyre of CIA Bounce.

Ennis is also considering Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Boston College.
