Amile Jefferson is expected to make a decision “very soon” following his weekend official visit to Duke, his head coach told SNY.tv.
“He enjoyed his Duke trip,” Jason Polykoff of Philly Friends Central said by text. “He doesn’t have an official timetable but he’s ready to make a decision very soon.”
The 6-foot-8 Jefferson is also considering Kentucky, N.C. State, Ohio State and Villanova.
“He’ll go take a look at Duke for a visit and from there he’s going to sit down and make his decision shortly after that,” Jefferson’s father, Malcolm Musgrove, told SNY.tv prior to the visit.
The Blue Devils are also hosted 6-foot-6 wing Shabazz Muhammad last weekend during the North Carolina game. Muhammad is considering Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, UNLV and Arizona and has said he likely won’t announce until April.
Both players will compete in the McDonald’s All-American Game March 28 in Chicago.
