Savon Goodman Talks Recruiting

In this interview with Five Star Basketball, former Villanova commit Savon Goodman talks recruiting.

The 6-foot-6 Goodman out of Philly Constitution High says he’s considering Kentucky, UCLA, Kansas, USC, Temple, Memphis and Arizona, among others.

Although UCLA’s primary targets in the spring remain Shabazz Muhammad and Tony Parker, Goodman said he likes the idea of playing with UCLA-bound point guard Kyle Anderson, his PLayaz Basketball Club teammate.

“Oh yeah, I played with him all summer,” Goodman said. “I know how good of a player he is. Any time you’re on a team with a 6-9 point guard and a wing like me, you’re going to watch some good basketball.”

Goodman also likes Kentucky and Arizona, although it remains unclear how hard these schools are recruiting him.

As for whether his decommitment from Villanova angered fans, he said,  “I can’t speak on them. If they’re made at me, it’s on them. If they’re happy for me, kudos to them.”
