Zeller Family Goes 2-0 in ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Steve and Lorri Zeller went a perfect 2-0 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge Wednesday night.

First they watched as younger son Cody Zeller, a freshmanput up 19 points and 7 rebounds as Indiana won at N.C. State, 86-75.

The Zellers left their seats at the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C., before the game ended in order to make the 30-minute drive to see older son, Tyler Zeller, play for No. 5 North Carolina against No. 9 Wisconsin at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill. The senior put up 12 points and eight boards in Carolina’s 60-57 victory.

“It’d be stressful if they were playing each other,” Steve told FayObserver.com shortly before tip off of the N.C. State game. “This is fun.”

The parents wore half-blue, half-red shirts that were made by students in a business class at the Indiana school where Lorri works, FayObserver.com reported.
