Cincinnati landed its first 2012 commitment when 6-foot-8 power forward Devon Scott of Columbus (Ohio) Northland verbally pledged to the Bearcats Tuesday.
“As of now, I am verbally committed to Cincinnati,” he tweeted.
He added: “I’m happy with my choice and nothing outside my family could change it…”
Scott said he also considered Xavier and West Virginia.
