Wally Judge Down to Two Schools

Kansas State transfer Wally Judge is down to two schools.

“I’m just choosing between Rutgers and Maryland,” Judge said by text Tuesday night.

A Washington, D.C. native, Judge had considered visiting Washington this coming weekend but that visit is now off.

The 6-foot-9, 245-pound Judge visited Maryland last weekend and Rutgers two weeks ago.

He has connections to both schools, having gone to high school just a few minutes from the Maryland campus while maintaining a close relationship with Rutgers associate head coach David Cox, a former Georgetown assistant.

Wherever he goes, Judge wants to feel “comfortable” and “able to continue my life as being a good student but also progressing my basketball game and getting better and showing everybody that I’m not a bust.”

Judge averaged 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15.2 minutes at Kansas State. He played in 17 games (11 starts) last season after averaging 3.3 points and three rebounds in 36 games as a freshman.
