Todd Mayo, the 6-foot-4 uncommitted senior combo guard from Notre Dame Prep, has returned from his weekend official visit to Marquette.
“He enjoyed the visit,” Notre Dame Prep coach Ryan Hurd said.
“He’d like to take a couple days to process it and then decide if he wants to take one more to compare.”
Mayo, who wasn’t immediately available for comment, has already taken unofficials to Providence and Memphis, but Marquette appears the most serious option at this point.
Mayo and Notre Dame Prep begin play Tuesday at the National Prep Championship Tuesday at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven.

AZ,
Good Stuff.
What’s the news of SHABAZZ…
UNC has their recruit. NOT Shabazz
Dukie is not an option.
Louiv is also out.
Can it be Kensucky?
The game vs Vandy was UGLY and horrible to watch.
Cali was going crazy and doing everything to get the LUCKY WIN.
Kensucky is struggling JUST to WIN games at home, a new LOW.
Kensucky is not a TOP25 team.
Why would Ron or Rice recomment this team?
Glue- WWW and Ucon non-sanctions by Bristol
And Always remember—
When you think Arizona is out, they come back IN.

A once heavy lean for Kansas Gangster U… is GONE.
Tokoto is not a Jayhawk.
Can this be??
More bad news coming from OZ land.
You heard the latest Woody or Chalk.
It will be rough… you do not have Bristol.

like goodman said…zona shouldnt even be ranked. 2-4 against the RPI top 50. just 6 games!!!! how pathetic is that. zero wins against ranked teams!!!! the only teams with a worse SOS in the top 25 in the RPI is utah st and george mason. losing to USC (school on probation) and UCLA. needed the refs help to beat UW, needed OT to beat a bad Cal team. Zona = fraud
UK has wins over ND, UL, UF, and Vandy. RPI 14 and SOS 10 and going up. UK is 7-5 against the RPI top 50. DOUBLE the number of teams Zona has played.
Zona and the pac-10 ARE weak!!!!
Anyone see Shabazz’s tweets of the Rupp crowd?

@Jessie, JP only listed KU to have another “name school” on his list, something that hasn’t happened to Arizona in a while-possibly ever.

Kentucky and Arizona are more similar than you think Boston. Neither team has won on the road vs. an elite team. Losing at Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas is worse than losing at UCLA and USC (USC did beat Texas and Tennessee this year). Kentucky has 3 talented players in Knight, Jones and Lamb but after that there is a significant drop off. I’m not sure if Kentucky can hang with a good team on a neutral court that is 10 players deep.

except uk actually played WAY better competition and beat them. in those losses, it was by 1 or 2 points. zona gets smacked by 20.

“L” is an “L” no matter how you slice it. I’m not sold on Vandy, UF, or Tennessee for your in conference foes that some feel are so much better than UCLA, UW and UA and for your non conference you lost to a UNC team that still had Drew playing point guard, it’s no secret the Tar heels are better without him. ND and Louisville are good I’ll give you that.

well no one is sold on the pac-10 which is still a 1 bid league. not all “L” are equal. step out of conference, play someone. see what you are made of. or play cupcakes. if you had wins against good teams, heck if you even played good teams you wouldnt say an “L” is an “L”. we also beat UW by the way..on a neutral floor.
the pac-10 is bad….and getting worse.

You are right Kansas and BYU (before Davies’ had the S E X) are horrible teams. And yes an “L” is an “L” no matter by how many points it by, but I wouldn’t expect anyone to understand this concept that has not played a sport at a high level.

2 games in what a 15 game OOC schedule. please….its pathetic. at least man up to it.
and i’m sure you were all state mr everything. classic internet tough guy who is really insecure. but then again…thats zona fans for you. insecure, desperate fan base that wants so badly to be apart of the nations elite programs.

UAWildcat / March 4, 2011
Kentucky played in the Maui thats the only reason it has 5 good OOC games instead of 3 and I’m not Jessie or you so I am not insecure and/or desperate. I just like to point that your view of Kentucky is more than a little biased (not nearly as bad as Jessie but still a little off). I never said that UA was outstanding and that UK was horrible just that there is not much of a gap between them. But that can be said about most of the team this year besides the top 5 or 6 teams. And I am no tough guy just a person that played a sport at a pretty high level. I played soccer in Europe for 3 seasons at about the same level as AA or AAA minor league baseball.

i think when 1 team plays twice as many games against the nations best teams….that qualifies as a pretty large gap. especially when that team wins those games and the other team, loses those games.
