  • AZ,

    Whatz up ?
Are you kidding me with that Smith guy?
    LMFAO.
Weak player. No one in the West even thinks Smith is a TOP 15 player. COME ON AZ.

    The TOP FOUR players are:
    Walker
    Derrick Williams from the West.
    Jimmer…
    Sullinger.

How about some VID interview from Walker?
You know his coach and you can add some extra stuff.

How about some VID interview with Derrick Williams?
Someone can give you the Book on him.

At least there is no mention of Kansag Gangster U GOT MONEY players.
    thanks.

  • Derrick Williams??? Not in that soft conference you donkey. Saying that Walker isnt in the POY discussion is one of the more ludicrous things you’ve said in awhile…

  • Don’t get me wrong.
    I like Walker alot.

But, u also have to consider the Conn thing.
There is a reason the news is not public.

    fo sho.

But, if u east coast boyz can stay up…
you can check out Derrick Williams on ESPN2, Thursday.

AZ- add another player to the poll and YOU will see how the WEST reacts.

    WEST UP

  • DWill. Fool. but seriously… i don’t think its possible to have a conversation about player of the year without mentioning him. He’s obviously one of the top 2 or 3 players in the country, and most likely number 1.

  • west up huh? wow, arizona is finally gonna be on a national network? the state of the program must be great! haha, get a clue!

  • Arizona is the west, its Mexico. Williams is the best player south of the border no doubt. He would challenge for starters minutes on the Mexican national team.

  • Jesse maybe I’ll stay up and check out the game. As far as the UConn thing goes – The NCAA is the NCAA… we should be hearing from them early Feb.

  • pretty sure you can catch all zona games on telemundo.

  • Jessie, you’re such a tool. Wow, you finally get a game on ESPN. The last time you actually played on the Worldwide Leader in Sports was vs. KU. You’re welcome!

  • Woody showed up…lol

    AZ,

No way this Smith is a player of the year.

The ACC is a bottom feeder conference.
    A one time conference.

    Top3 conference
    Big East
Big 12…Texas being the most dangerous.
    PAC10

    Bottom Feeders
    ACC
SEC… Gators,Vandy should of never been ranked.

  • JW, did u you miss me???

LOL @ Pac 10 being your third best conference. Keep dreaming.

  • AZ,

What did I tell you about The Bottom Feeder conference…ACC is a joke.
A one team conference and that team ,duke, just got a BEAT DOWN.

    SUP!

  • AZ….

    I told you about Duke…
    LMAO…

    Blown OUT!
ACC is a bottom feeder conference.
Did u see the NC st game also.

ps- There are thousand of West Coast folks ready to VOTE but, you need to put quality on the list.

REMOVE this smith… obvious from the St John game.

    And add D. “MoMo” Williams.

  • JW, you are delusional. Duke>UA

  • HallBall
February 01, 2011, 7:02AM at 7:02 am # THIS JESSIE GUY MUST LIVE UNDER A ROCK IF DUKE IS NOT A TOP TEN TEAM!

FIRST CONGRATS TO THE JOHNNIES FOR THE WIN AGAINST COACH K’S BOYS, STEVE LAVIN HAS THOSE GUYS PLAYING GOOD UP-TEMPO “EAST COAST” BALL. NOW, SINCE WHEN HAS THE ACC BECOME A BOTTOM-FEEDER CONFERENCE?! LAST TIME I CHECKED THE LAST TWO NATIONAL CHAMPIONS CAME FROM THE ACC BUT I GUESS THE PAC-10 IS A MORE ELITE CONFERENCE RIGHT?!

THE ONLY CONFERENCE THAT EVEN DESERVES RAISING AN EYEBROW TO IS THE BIG 12. NOBODY CARES ABOUT THE PAC-10 OR SHOULD I SAY PAC-12, LIKE ADDING COLORADO AND UTAH WILL DO YOUR CONFERENCE SOME JUSTICE ON SELECTION SUNDAY…..LOL

I GUESS YOUR STILL MAD AT HOW KADEEM JACK LEFT THAT HOLE IN THE WALL UNIVERSITY IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AND ENDED UP STAYING ON THE EAST COAST PLAYING IN THE BEST CONFERENCE IN THE NATION. NY/NJ AREA KIDS ARENT LEAVING THE EAST COAST LIKE THE EARLY 90′S SO I GUESS TEAMS LIKE ZONA WILL HAVE TO RECRUIT IN RUSSIA SOMEWHERE REAL SOON.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW MIKE RICE SHAMMED YOU GUYS OUT OF KJ?

BY THE WAY EVEN THOUGH ADAM COVERS COLLEGE BASKETBALL AS A WHOLE, ANY GENIUS CAN SEE THAT “ZAGSBLOG” IS BASICALLY A BIG EAST/EAST COAST BLOG SO IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT COMMENT…..

  • I LIKE JIMMERS ABILITY TO SCORE IN BUNCHES BUT YOU SERIOUSLY CANT COMPARE THE LEVEL OF COMPETITION BETWEEN THE MOUNTAIN WEST AND THE BIG EAST. LET ALONE HE REALLY HASNT SHOWN ME MORE ON THE DEFENSIVE END THAN KEMBA HAS. KEMBA IS NUMBER 1 AND SULLINGER IS A CLOSE NUMBER 2 AND I’LL ADD JUJUAN JOHNSON TO THIS LIST AS WELL.

  • I agree Jesse can be over the top, but to say D Williams doesn’t belong in the conversation is just as ignorant. He shoots 63% from the field, 70% from 3 pt range, avg 20 pts a game, and averages over 2 pts per shot attempt. He’s also rated as the top PF in the nations in CB Power rankings. ACC is going through what the PAC 10 has been, with a ton of players going to the NBA. Hallball, I guess MoMo, K Parrom, and Sidiki aren’t from the East Coast? See how I made a point without using all caps?

  • AZ,

We all know that Duke is over rated.
They are clearly not a N0.1 seed.
They will be GIVEN a No.2 seed, in the West.

But, what is going on with Dickie V?
His latest AP voting has the West LOurAO.
    Not very good voting Dickie..

  • Derrick Williams should be in the discussion for POY. Hallball Jack staying on the east coast was the right choice for him and Arizona. Sidiki and Chol (keeping my fingers crossed but fairly confident he ends up in Tucson) will be better than Jack. When you consider that Miller’s 3rd recruiting class consists of Josaih Turner, Nick Johnson and Sidiki Johnson and already has Grant Jarrett committed for 2012 with a strong chance to land Ashely the future is bright in Arizona.

  • @FINNMCCOUL (WHATEVER THAT IS) SO THOSE PLAYERS ARE FROM THE EAST, AND? WHO SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THOSE GUYS? I SAID KIDS FROM THE NY/NJ AREA OPTING TO LEAVE AS THEY DID IN THE 90’S, OR SHOULD I HAVE PUT “KIDS AS OF LATE” (SHOULD I REALLY HAVE TO?).

BUT SINCE YOU BRUNG IT UP LOOK AT THE RECRUITING CLASS FROM LAST YEAR AND THIS UPCOMING CLASS AND TELL ME THAT MORE KIDS FROM THE EAST ARE CHOOSING PAC-10 SCHOOLS MORE THAN THE BIG EAST OR ANY OTHER BCS PROGRAM….
