DeAndre Daniels, the 6-foot-9, 197-pound wing from IMG Academies, will take an official visit to Texas beginning Sunday.
“DeAndre will be visiting Texas Dec. 19-20,” said IMG coach Andy Borman.
“He has not set his last official visit yet, although it looks like the schools that are most likely to get that visit are Baylor, Arizona State, Alabama and Florida. I imagine it will happen sometime after Christmas.”

GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Two days after the Nets added two more first-round draft picks in the Terrence Williams trade, Knicks president Donnie Walsh said he could land a first-round pick of his own anytime he wanted.
“Oh yeah, I think I could if I had to, yeah,” Walsh said Thursday after practice. “Yes, I do.”
Walsh made it clear that the addition of a first-round pick wouldn’t be with the aim of landing any specific superstar, but reiterated that he could make it happen.

NEW YORK — Celtics coach Doc Rivers said his son, Austin, hopes to team with Kyrie Irving next year at Duke.
Austin Rivers is a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Winter Park (Fla.) who signed with Duke last month. If he and Irving were to play together, they could form one of the most explosive backcourts in the nation.
“Oh yeah, he’s hoping to play with Kyrie,” Doc said Wednesday before the Celtics-Knicks game at MSG. “That still may or may not happen, whether he’s injured or not. But I’m just hoping Kyrie is back and healthy. He’s a terrific player.”
Seton Hall senior guard Keon Lawrence on Wednesday entered a guilty plea in Middlesex County Court for his 2009 wrong-way driving incident on the Garden State Parkway and received five years probation, multiple sources with knowledge said.
He will be sentenced sometime in early 2011, a legal source said.
New Jersey State Police had no official comment. Neither did Seton Hall.
Lawrence received summonses last January for DWI and driving with a suspended license for the Nov. 9, 2009 accident.
