Uncommitted senior point guard Cezar Guerrero of St. John Bosco (Bellflower CA) is drawing major interest, according to West Coast recruiting expert Dinos Trigonis.
UCLA, Florida, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Iowa, Seton Hall, Washington State, New Mexico State, Western Kentucky, Florida State and BYU are all involved with the 6-foot point guard, Trigonis said.
Guerrero is averaging 26.3 points and 6.2 assists per game for a Brave squad that is now 11-1. He has scored 30 or more points in five of St. John Bosco’s contests this month, including a season-high 35 points as well as 4 assists Thursday when Bosco beat Dominguez (Compton CA) 57-39 in a non-league game.
Guerrero is ranked No. 14 among 2011 point guards by Rivals.
