Daniels Visiting Kansas, Oregon

DeAndre Daniels, the No. 3 small forward in the nation, is taking back-to-back official visits to Kansas and Oregon, a source with direct knowledge said.

The 6-foot-8, 180-pound Daniels, out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academies, is at Kansas now and then departs for an official to Oregon Sunday.

“He’s enjoying his Kansas visit,” the source said. “One of the big draws of the of the Kansas visit was that they were playing UCLA [Thursday — a 77-76 Kansas victory]. UCLA is one of the schools he is seriously considering and this was a chance for him to see both teams play.”

Daniels, who transferred from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft, will go straight to Oregon from Kansas.

“He’s going to Oregon on Sunday,” the source said.

None of the IMG kids will sign until the spring period, including guard Phil Greene, who is considering St. John’s among other schools. Greene won’t take any visits until the second semester.
