Count Florida and Iowa as the latest schools interested in Brewster (N.H.) Academy combo guard Elijah Carter.
“Florida called Monday and is supposed to send someone to see him,” said Eric Harrield, Carter’s AAU coach. “Iowa is going to go see him.”
The 6-foot-2 Carter is a New Jersey native who initially committed to St. Bonaventure before decommitting.
The No. 22 point guard in the Class of 2011, he did not sign in the early signing period and recently said he was still considering Oregon State, Seton Hall, Charlotte, Rhode Island and South Florida.
Still, he added that other schools would also have a shot going forward.
“Yes, there is a chance new schools can get in,” he said.

Weak calls all the way around, numbnuts. Just be glad UA didn’t have to face Selby last night–it would’ve been worse.
