Former St. John’s head coach Norm Roberts will join SNY’s Big East television coverage, sources with knowledge told ZAGSBLOG.com.
As the official TV home of the Big East Conference, as well as a partner with Rutgers and UConn men’s basketball, SNY will showcase more than 100 live Big East games this season.
Roberts, who was fired in March after posting an 81-101 in six years at the Queens school and replaced by former UCLA coach Steve Lavin, should be uniquely positioned to give insight on the league’s teams.
Big East Media Day is Wednesday at MSG and SNY and ZAGSBLOG will have video interviews, stories and breaking news throughout the coming days.
