Myles Mack to Rutgers

Less than 24 hours after officially landing Kadeem Jack, Rutgers coach Mike Rice added to his impressive recruiting haul by picking up a commitment from St. Anthony senior point guard Myles Mack.

The 5-foot-10, 157-pound Mack is the No. 23 point guard in the nation according to Rivals and averaged 14.8 points and 2.8 steals last year at Paterson (N.J.) Catholic.

“I’m going to Rutgers University next year,” Mack said Wednesday by phone in his first interview. “I chose it because it’s close to home and my parents and my family and my friends get to come see me play. I built a good relationship with Coach Rice in the past few weeks.”
