DeAndre Daniels says he isn’t reclassifying to 2010 and he’s headed to prep school.

There had been reports that the 6-foot-8, 192-pound wing from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft would reclassify to 2010, but that is not the case.

“No, I’ll be Class of 2011,” Daniels said by phone from the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game in Venice Beach, Calif. “I was [considering it] for a little bit but I decided to stay in my class.”

Daniels, who recently decommitted from Texas, could go to college now if he wanted, though.

LeBryan Nash has narrowed his list to three schools and plans to announce Oct. 21 on ESPN.

The 6-foot-7, 227-pound small forward from Dallas Lincoln is considering Oklahoma State, Baylor and Kansas. He took an unofficial to Oklahoma State last weekend and has a visit slated to Baylor Sept. 11.

The No. 2 small forward in the Class of 2011 said he “might” visit Kansas Oct. 15 for “Late Night in the Phog” and then plans to announce Oct. 21 on ESPN.

“My decision is going to be on Oct. 21,” he said by phone from the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game in Venice Beach, Calif. “ESPN picked that date. It’s the best date for both of us.”

Team USA

Citing family concerns, Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo withdrew from Team USA Tuesday, leaving the team with the 12-man roster it needs heading into the World Championship.

“Rajon came to us and said he was going to withdraw from the team, that he had some family matters to attend to and some things to take care of before the NBA season. He did an outstanding job during our training, we appreciate the effort and commitment he made to our program and he completely has our support,” said Team USA Chairman Jerry Colangelo.
