NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. — UConn junior point guard Kemba Walker recently posted a published list of the Top 45 college basketball teams in the nation for next season in the team’s locker room.
The Huskies, a Final Four team in 2009 and a two-time national champion, were nowhere to be found.
“I was trying to think when was the last time we were not included in the top 45 and I like it,” UConn coach Jim Calhoun said last week at the Peach Jam tournament.
Objectively speaking, the Huskies probably shouldn’t be included on such a list.

goes without saying, his coaching ability has slipped. as with lute olson- they are humongous icons with such stature no one dares to bring up the “R” word without absorbing the fiery wrath of his blind believers.
