After Injury, Butler’s Future Still Bright

Six weeks after collapsing with a torn ACL in the national semifinals against Duke, Da’Sean Butler will graduate Sunday from West Virginia University.

What lies ahead for the senior forward from Newark, N.J., remains uncertain, but at least one NBA scout predicts the 6-foot-7 Butler will hear his name called during the June 24 NBA Draft.

“I feel he will be drafted,” said the scout, who requested anonymity because he is not permitted to comment publicly.
