What makes Bruce Beck stand out in this photo taken by St. John’s athletics officials?

He’s the only guy who still has a job.

Seated from right to left on the set of Beck’s show in early March are former Seton Hall coach Bobby Gonzalez, former St. John’s coach Norm Roberts and former Rutgers coach Fred Hill.

Word is the tension backstage was palpable.

All three coaches have since been fired and replaced by Kevin Willard (Seton Hall), Steve Lavin (St. John’s) and now Mike Rice (Rutgers).

If this picture is any indication, these new coaches might want to think twice about appearing anywhere together for a joint interview.
