Tony Wroten says he knows where Marquis Teague is going.
And Wroten says Teague will announce today (Thursday) for Kentucky over Louisville, Indiana, Cincinnati and Purdue.
“Yessir. Mr.teague will b a kentucky wildcat. Its final,” Wroten wrote on his Twitter.
The 6-foot-2 Teague of Indianapolis Pike is the No. 1 point guard in the Class of 2011 and the No. 2 overall player, according to Rivals.
Kentucky has already secured a commitment from Michael Gilchrist, the No. 1 player in the Class of 2011 out of Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick.
So if Teague does in fact commit to the Wildcats, head coach John Calipari will have landed the No. 1 players in the Class of 2010 (Brandon Knight) and 2011 (Gilchrist) as well as the No. 2 player in 2011 (Teague).
Teague averaged 16.3 points, 4.6 assists and shot 43 percent from the field last season.
Louisville coach Rick Pitino put a lot of work into the Teague recruitment. He coached Shawn Teague, Marquis’ father, at Boston University, and hired Shabaka Lands, a former Pike assistant, to serve as “special assistant to the head coach.”
Yet, according to Wroten, Teague will become the latest stud to commit to Calipari, which would serve as a major blow for Pitino and the CArdinals.
As if all that weren’t good enough news for Kentucky fans, the 6-4 Wroten, the No. 9 player in the Class of 2011, says his top six — in order — are “Kentucky, UConn, Washington, ‘Nova, Syracuse and Baylor.”

The Knicks have less available salary cap space than Kentucky. Lol
Chandler has a lower GPA than even Wroten, but Caliapri as a history of arranging for players to get eligible. Cook will go wherever his handler tells him to go. Miller is actually at Duke tonight with Austin Rivers, Amir Williams, and Michael Gbinije for their Championship banquet.

i understand the fact that most believe he cheated at UMASS and memphis. he brought in great kids to a mid-major program. in your eyes he cheats in the NCAA’s eyes(the ones that matter) hes done nothing wrong. and thats how it will be. just like arizona fans think Sean Miller is the grand pooba, everyone else knows he is barely a top 40 coach. kansas fans think Self is a saint yet he recruits the SAME kids as Cal. as a matter of a fact Cal never recruited lance stephenson yet Self did.

UK Fans, why do you respond to all this rubbish? Do you really think stating facts will change opinions? People believe anything they want to believe if it provides them an excuse for their own inadequacies or in this case their schools failures.
Just relax and enjoy the ride.

I really do love this attitude. Pre-calipari and when UK was looking for a coach, the UK boards were chocked full of fans saying exactly the same things that every other school’s fans say about him. Why? Because it’s the truth. My problem with UK fans now isn’t that they support him, I would too if he was my team’s coach, it’s that they now bash other team’s fans for saying the exact same things they were not too long ago.

Miller is a top 25 coach. Period.
Self doesn’t have to resort to the same measures to recruit that Cal has to. Does Self have Worldwide Wes or Lebron? NOPE.

What facts have y’all prevented? None. Just a bunch of fans on both sides expressing opinions. UK fans think Cal is a saint for restoring a winning tradition, albeit dirty. Fans that like UK think Cal is a cheat. Being a Memphis fan, I KNOW he is a cheat. Even when he was here for 9 years, I thought him to be a cheat. He has always recruited in the gray areas, and failure to acknowledge that just makes UK look foolish.

tsmooth. Help me with this. JROSE is held up in the NBA as a STAR, a role model for kids etc. etc. etc. But it is he that cheated on his SAT’s yet the NCAA cleared him to play under Calipari. After the NCAA investigated Coach Cal was not implicated in any wrong doing much like the case at UMASS, yet it’s he you refer to as “dirty” not Rose or Camby. Help me to understand.
