Like most people who tuned in to the Le Moyne-Syracuse exhibition game Monday night on SNY, I figured I’d be watching a 20- or 30-point Orange blowout.

Le Moyne College?

Never heard of it. Turns out it’s a Division 2 school also in Syracuse.

Well, a whole lot of people will know about Le Moyne now after the Dolphins — yes, that’s their nickname — downed the No. 25 Orange 82-79 thanks  to sophomore guard Chris Johnson’s sixth 3-pointer of the night with 8.3 seconds left. (Johnson is pictured courtesy the Le Moyne website.)

Syracuse’s Wesley Johnson, who had hit a 3 from the left wing to put Syracuse up 79-78 with 22 seconds left, misfired on a 3-point attempt the other way. Can Ozkaner of Le Moyne then made 1-of-2 foul shots to send the Lemoyne fans into a celebration worthy of winning the national championship.

A year ago, Under Armour made a bold entrance into the basketball world by signing current Milwaukee Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings to a five-year, incentive-based deal worth more than $500,000 annually and making him its first professional client.

The Baltimore-based company also has sponsorship deals with several colleges, including Maryland, Auburn and Texas Tech.

On the high school level, Under Armour sponsored the Boost Mobile Elite 24 event in Rucker Park this summer, outfitting every player in Under Armour gear.

Under the leadership of Kris Stone, Under Armour’s Director of Basketball, the company also sponsors 27 high school teams, including Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, the former home of Sebastian Telfair and Lance Stephenson.

You may recall that Lance and his family took a tour of the Under Armour facilities in Maryland during his official visit to campus there last year.

Oak Hill combo guard Doron Lamb will visit UConn Nov. 15-16.

The 6-foot combo guard out of Queens, N.Y., has visited Oklahoma, Kansas and Kentucky and will now make UConn his fourth official.

He may also visit Arizona, but no date has been set.

The early signing period runs Nov. 11-18 and it remains unclear when Lamb will sign early or late.

His father, Calvin, previously said his son faced a tough choice among his leaders.

“I think it’s going to be a tough choice for him,” Calvin said.
