Boost Mobile: Raining, Game Moved

NEW YORK — What a mess.

The Boost Mobile Elite 24 game was just moved because of rain from Rucker Park to the Gauchos Gym. I’m sitting here courtside and Rice coach Moe Hicks just told me he’s looking for a power cord.

“If I don’t get this cord, there ain’t gonna be no game,” he said.

ESPN is out so there will be no TV coverage on Saturday.

This game should’ve been moved to Fordham yesterday with the rain predictions.

A lot of people were left standing out front who couldn’t get into this smaller gym.

The dunk contest was cancelled earlier. Folks sat around and ate and watched the players warm up and then it rained again.

Rajon Rondo, Tyreke Evans and Tiny Morton are coaching the Skip team, while Pete Vecsey, Brandon Jennings and Kevin Love are coaching the Goat team.

Pete Vecsey says his starting lineup is Jared Sullinger, Tristan Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Josh Selby and CJ Leslie…

The starting lineup for Goat is Tobias Harris, Joe Jackson, Harrison Barnes, Josh Smith and Will Barotn.

Stay tuned…
