NEW YORK – St. John’s head coach Norm Roberts won’t be seeing his wife and two sons much this month.
Beginning Monday, Roberts and the rest of the Big East coaches — as well as their brethren from around the coaching universe — will hit the road for the all important NCAA evaluation period.
“I’ll be at the LeBron Camp, I’ll be at the Reebok All-American Camp, the [Hoop Group] Elite camp, Peach Jam, Summer Classic, the Joe Brown tournament in New Jersey,” Roberts said in a recent interview. “We’ll be out in Vegas, out in Long Beach [near] L.A.”
