Point guard Lamont “Momo” Jones of New York and forward Derrick Williams of Calif., have been granted releases from USC, according to the L.A. Times.
The Trojans have now lost five recruits and four of their best returning players since the end of the season. Head coach Tim Floyd resigned earlier this week in the wake of the O.J. Mayo scandal in which Floyd is alleged to have paid cash to Mayo associate Rodney Guillory.
It remains unclear if the releases were conditional or unconditional.
If unconditional, expect Jones to look at Arizona, Florida and Memphis, as reported here yesterday.

it would have to be unconditional if zona has anteed up a scholie already.

Was it a shady program because of John Calipari or because it’s Memphis?

MiddleFinger,
You are correct. Unconditional release.
With Tim gone, USC has NO reason to put limits on the release.
IF MoMo requested it, in writing..then, MoMo got the full release.
Very easy to get the full unconditional release.
(USC does not want to get into more problem…and I should know!)
The UNCONDITIONAL release is very easy to obtain.
I hear that Noel J. is going back to my boyz and asking for a full unconditional release….now that Timmie is gone.
Timmie was the only road block.
So, NO MORE road blocks for MoMo.
AZ–
When it is confirmed of MoMo full release….
Who is the leader for MoMo?

AZ,
I do not mind that the SC players go to Arizona.
That is cool.
But, what is going on with Kevin P.
He is a few weeks away from going to Arizona.
Heard his summer plans are for summer school.
And Nic and the rest of the team will be there as well.
Should be some good summer work outs.
Have you ever had MoMo Lamb on the run?
How good is MoMo Lamb?

TerpMasterX: way to be just fall in line with the herd because the media tells you to. An incident doesn’t make a school shady, a continuing string of incidents yes. Although if you want to say this singular incident makes Memphis shady, then college bball should probably cease to exist ’cause there are plenty of “shady” programs out there.

Yeah, “Tim” was dirty at ISU & we all knew it. About time it caught up with him.

TerpMasterX, I bet you would make a great jury member! I guess rumors are equivalent to fact in your world. The motto “innocent until proven guilty” is such a good one that the founding fathers of the United States of America adopted it for the new court systems of the time. Oh, wait, I forgot you believe in the medieval English Court system, my bad.
