NEW YORK – Despite all it has been through this season, playing with only eight scholarship players and enduring continued questions about its ability to navigate the brutal Big East schedule, Seton Hall is still alive for an NIT bid.
Behind a combined 52 points from Jeremy Hazell, Eugene Harvey and Robert Mitchell, No. 11 Seton Hall dispatched No. 14 South Florida 68-54 in the first round of the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden.
