NEWARK – When DeJuan Blair fell to the ground after banging knees with Seton Hall’s Jeremy Hazell early in the first half Saturday night, a shockwave rippled through the Pittsburgh bench.
“The first thing that comes to mind is, ‘Oh my God,’” Pitt senior guard Levance Fields said. “He had two ACL injuries in high school. It’s a scary sight. You hope for the best.”
FAMOUS DONE FOR THE SEASON
Seton Hall target Jarrid Famous and his Westchester Community College teammates are done for the season after losing to Monroe College, 101-78, Saturday night in a Region XV semifinal. The 6-11 Famous had 28 points and 7 rebounds. He will make an official visit to Missouri March 4 and has already visited Seton Hall officially.
