Erin Andrews, Greg Robinson & the ’58 Giants

Erin Andrews will once again grace the Rutgers campus with her presence when she appears on the sideline for Thursday night’s ESPN game against Louisville. Read my story about Senior Night here. When Andrews last appeared at RU for the season opening loss to North Carolina, a couple of young Rutgers employees ran out onto the field afterward and asked her to pose for a quick picture…she obliged.

**Donnie Webb of the Syracuse Post-Standard published a list on his blog of potential replacements for fired Syracuse coach Greg Robinson. Among them are UConn head coach Randy Edsall, a Syracuse alum whose team finishes the regular season Saturday at home against Pitt; East Carolina head coach Skip Holtz, whose club meets Tulsa in Saturday’s Conference USA championship; Buffalo coach Turner Gill, whose outfit plays in the MAC championship; and Oregon offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, who may or may not have an interview slated for Wednesday (The Eugene Register-Guard).

**ESPN will air “The Greatest Game Ever Played” on Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. The 1958 NFL title game pitted the Giants against the Baltimore Colts at Yankee Stadium.
