Cheek at the Rutgers Game

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Dominic Cheek is sitting behind the Rutgers bench for today’s St. Bonaventure-Rutgers game at the Rutgers Athletic Center.

There’s not much of a student turnout today. Maybe everyone’s home watching the Titans-Jets game?

The 6-foot-5 wing from St. Anthony in Jersey City is here on his official visit and also took in Friday night’s 69-55 victory over Robert Morris in which his former St. Anthony teammate Mike Rosario went off for a career-high 27 points.

Cheek has already visited Kansas, Villanova and Memphis and heads to Pittsburgh Tuesday-Thursday. All five schools remain on his list.

Cheek did not sign in the early signing period (Nov. 12-19) and may wait until the spring, but St. Anthony associate head coach Ben Gamble said “Anything is possible.”

Check back for more later.
