    The landscape of Dominic Cheek’s recruitment is undergoing some changes.

    The 6-foot-5 Cheek has shuffled some visit dates and knocked some schools off his list.

    First, both Indiana and Seton Hall are out, according to St. Anthony associate head coach Ben Gamble, who is handling Cheek’s recruitment.

    “He’s no longer interested in Indiana and he’s no longer interested in Seton Hall,” Gamble said Thursday afternoon by phone. “He just wasn’t comfortable with those situations.”

    Georgetown, Louisville, Villanova

    With Game 5 of the World Series finally set to resume tonight in Philly, you can guess who Villanova coach Jay Wright is rooting for.

    “We have the middle three games in Philadelphia so selfishly I’d like it to go at least five so we can get to those games,” Wright said at Big East Media Day. “There’s nothing better than being in Citizens Bank Park for a Phillies game. I’m going to get down there when I can and I definitely have the Phillies in five.”

    OK, Jay. We’ll see if you’re right.

    Miami, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, UCLA, UConn

    Durand Scott is down to three schools and could decide relatively soon.

    The 6-foot-4 Scott, the No. 9 shooting guard in the Class of 2009 according to Rivals, will choose from among Miami, UConn and Pittsburgh, the three schools to which he has taken officials. Planned official visits to UCLA and Tennessee never happened and those schools are out of the mix.

    “There’s no more visits scheduled. This is pretty much it,” Dwayne Mitchell, Scott’s coach with the New York Gauchos, said Tuesday by phone. “It’s pretty much the three that he visited. We’ll try and make a decision that makes sense.”
