Having finished his in-home visits with college coaches, Dominic Cheek will now figure out his five officials.
“We’re going to sit down and write things down and decide what schools he wants to visit,” St. Anthony coach Bob Hurley said. “And then he’ll start making his visits.”
Cheek had an in-home on Tuesday night with Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon and assistant Brandin Knight.
“It was good, very good,” Hurley said. “Brandin Knight from Seton Hall Prep was able to give the perspective of a kid who played at Pitt. He gave Dom information that was helpful.”
Wake Forest was supposed to have an in-home on Wednesday, but Hurley said the visit did not take place.
Still, Hurley has said Cheek will likely take officials to Kansas, Villanova and Wake Forest. He mentioned that Memphis was an option for a fourth visit, with a fifth potentially going to UConn, Tennessee, Indiana, Seton Hall or Rutgers. Indiana would seem to be out of the mix since it has used all of its scholarships for 2009. Tennessee never had an in-home visit and also appears out of the mix.
