Crump to Visit RU; Robinson Says KU is Leader

Givon Crump, 6-foot-6, 210-pound small forward from Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy ranked No. 26 among small forwards in the Class of 2009, has shuffled his visits a bit.

After visiting Oregon State (9/13), he will head to Baylor (10/4) and Rutgers (10/14), Brewster head coach Jason Smith said. The Rutgers official was rescheduled from this weekend. South Florida, DePaul and George Washington are also in the mix, but no officials are set. He has already visited Rutgers, GW and Maryland unofficially.

Another Brewster standout, 6-8 PF Thomas Robinson, visited Kansas this past weekend for the ceremony awarding the basketball team its national championship rings.

“Thomas enjoyed his visit to Kansas very much,” Smith said. “At this point, they are his leader. He’s planning to visit Memphis Oct. 4 and USC Oct. 14. Coach (Tim) Floyd from USC will be on campus today (Tuesday) to speak with him.”
