David Bruce Update; Watford to Indiana

David Bruce, a 6-foot-9, 210-pound senior forward from Linden (NJ) High, is still on the board.

Bruce did not travel with an AAU team this summer, staying at home instead.

Still, “St. Joe’s, Maryland, St. John’s, Seton Hall, they’ve all offered,” Linden coach Phil Colicchio said.

**Indiana picked up a commitment from Christian Watford, a 6-7, 215-pound SF rated the No. 34 senior in the country.

“Indiana stayed behind me the whole way, and I just knew that was the place for me,” Watford told the Indianapolis star

Watford picked Indiana over Memphis, Kentucky, Louisville and Alabama. Playing time was an issue.

“He just felt like Indiana was a good fit,” Ernest Watford told the Indy Star. “He felt he could get the opportunity to play as a freshman at an established school where he has great relationships with the coaches.”
