Big East Announces Sked

The Big East put out its schedule today for the 2008-09 season, the first season in which all 16 teams will qualify for the Big East tournament at Madison Square Garden.

A year ago, eight teams made the NCAA Tournament, including tournament champion Pitt and runner-up Georgetown.

Here are the schedules for the three New York-New Jersey area teams. Also, Jerry Carino reports that Rutgers will host a five-team non-conference tournament at the RAC in November.

RUTGERS

   Home    DePaul, Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Providence, Seton Hall, USF, Syracuse, West Virginia

   Away     Cincinnati, Connecticut, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Providence, St. John’s, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Villanova

 

ST. JOHN’S

   Home    Cincinnati, Connecticut, Georgetown, Louisville, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Seton Hall, USF, Syracuse
