Jordan Games Summaries

Marcusmorris5_30200Kansas-bound twins Marcus and Markieff Morris of Pennsauken (N.J.) Apex Academy combined for 36 points to lift the Suburban team to a 129-127 victory over the City team Saturday night in the Jordan Brand Regional Game at Madison Square Garden.

Seven players reach double figures for the Suburbs, including a game-high 20 by Marcus Morris. Markieff added 16 and West Virginia-bound forward Kevin Jones of Mount Vernon tallied 15 points and 11 boards. Seton Hall-bound guard Jordan Theodore had a strong game with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

Ryan Pearson of Christ the King led the City squad with 36 points and 16 rebounds while Florida commit Erving Walker tallied 20 and 11. Rutgers-bound small forward Pat Jackson played well, tallying 20 points and eight boards.

Brandon_jennings**In the All-American Game, Arizona-bound PG Brandon Jennings had 10 points and 14 assists to earn MVP honors as the Blue team beat the White team, 124-114. Memphis-bound G Tyreke Evans tallied 23 points to win MVP honors for White.
