NEW YORK — Jordan Theodore doesn’t exactly have fond memories of the first game he played in Madison Square Garden.
Theodore and his Paterson Catholic teammates surrendered a 14-point lead with six minutes remaining and lost to New York power Mount Vernon in January during the Nike Super Six.
“My first time playing at the Garden, it wasn’t so good,” Theodore, the 2007-08 Herald News Boys Basketball Player of the Year, said Tuesday during a practice at Long Island University-Brooklyn. “We were up and lost. But Kevin Jones is on my team this time, so I think it will be a different outcome.”
